About Roslin Catering

For over twenty years Ros and her team have been catering for events, big and small, across Shropshire and Mid-Wales. When Nicola, Ros's daughter in law, joined the family business fifteen years ago the company grew from strength the strength embracing innovative menus and creative approaches to food.

Based in Condover just south of the county town of Shrewsbury Roslin Catering is located in the heart of rural Shropshire. Our countryside, agriculture and community are very important to the entire Roslin Catering team and we hold these values dear in everything we do. 

We are all passionate about good food and good service and strive to achieve excellence no matter the size of the event or the limitations of the venue. We specialise in marquee events and enjoy the freedom that cooking under canvas brings.

In 1994 Ros, and her husband John, were approached by a friend to ask a favour. Peters son was getting married in Condover Village Hall and they were looking for a caterer. After years of enjoying Ros's cooking at parties and village hall events Peter asked Ros if she would cook for the wedding. It was an easy decision. From that wedding four enquiries rolled in and Roslin Catering was born.


In the early 1980s as a newly married couple Ros and John ran a pub and restaurant near a lake at their farm. With that experience they grew the company from doing a dozen events a year in their "spare time" to the business it is today.


Both Ros and John are still at the forefront of Roslin Catering working alongside the next generation of Nicola (their daughter-in-law), Camilla (their niece), Clare (Ros's sister) and Vicky (Ros's daughter). Our team continues to grow and we are proud of everyone who works with us in our 'extended family'. The pride we all share for our work pushes us to provide the best food and service we can regardless of location and facilities.
